White Fillings

Most of us will experience tooth decay at some point in our lives. When this happens, the decay must be cleared away and the tooth repaired with a composite material that is cured with a bright light.

Benefits: Highland Smiles is a mercury-free office, so we use only tooth-colored composite resins to fill cavities and repair tooth decay. These fillings are healthier and more attractive than the old-fashioned silver-amalgam fillings. They are stronger and longer lasting, too.

Additional Details: White fillings tend to cost more initially than the historical silver-type, but they offer a host of other benefits; they are non-toxic and make for a much nicer smile.
